New Law passed in 2014 to teach the history of Roberto Landell de Moura in the public school system in Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil
December 8th 2014 a new law passed to include Father Landell’s history in the public school system under the subjects of Science, History and Portuguese language.
Father Landell is honored in 2012 with his inclusion in the Book of National Heroes, located in the capital of Brazil, Brasilia
Included in April 27th, 2012, Father Landell is in the book along with the Brazilian emperor Dom Pedro I and among others, Manuel Deodoro da Fonseca who proclaimed the republic of Brazil.
In 2011, the Brazilian National post company Honored Father Landell issuing a stamp in celebration of 150years of his birthday (January 21st 1961)
